Disconnect the wire plug from the fuel injector that needs testing. Then, link the instrument’s pulse output terminals to the vehicle’s fuel injector. Attach the red clip of the instrument to the positive terminal of a 12V car battery, and attach the black clip of the instrument to the negative terminal of the battery. Press the “Mode set” key to choose the pulse signal output mode you need, and the screen will show the mode you’ve selected. (Below, you’ll find an explanation of the various modes. To stop the pulse output, press the “Pulse” key once more.) Once you’ve chosen the pulse signal mode you need, just press the “Pulse” button. This will send pulses to the fuel injector being tested, and the signal light will turn on when the pulses are sent. After finishing the test, press the “Pulse” key again to repeat the test.
