I love this company’s slogan, ” Think outside the Blocks” as it so much more than piecing and stacking blocks together. I find this “toy” it to be a great hands on learning aid and a welcome introduction to STEM learning. This set will have your children building 3 structures. I also want to note many older children also enjoy Knex projects. They will also have the opportunity to make more using their imaginations all while having fun. I’ve bought Knex sets for my children and I now purchase them for my grand children. This Knex set is titled ” Amusement Park in a Box”. I love that these sets are non electronic . It’s a great hands on project and a wonderful way for an adult and a child to spend time together and work as a team. An adult is not always necessary but some of the directions are detailed and may need adult supervision. The set is recommended for childrenages 7 . A word of caution for homes with small children, the small pieces can be a choking hazard so supervision is needed. This kit has 3 different structures to constuct which are all run by motors. The structures are a roller coaster. ferris wheel and a swing ride. A high speed blaster motor is used for the coaster car. The ferriswheel and swing ride run off of another battery powered motor. 378 pieces are included in this set and the one downfall is not all models can be built at the same time as some pieces need to do double duty on the different structures. All knex do however work with other Knex sets so your child’s imagination can make new designs. I also like that Knex are made in America.
