But unlike many of his kin, whose strength was spent in mines and masonry, his path was chosen in blood. At a young age, he was taken to Eredel, where his sheer size and power made him the city’s designated executioner. An exchange that would keep the tribe’s own sovereignty, affording them protection from persecution. His weapon was no simple axe or headsman’s blade: it was a relic of his people, a gargantuan stone slab passed down through generations. With it, he dispensed justice not with clean beheadings, but with bone-shattering finality. Criminals did not just die under his judgment; they were unmade. Word of his gruesome work spread through the city like wildfire, and soon, his name alone was enough to quell rebellion. But even the mightiest executioner could not strike down Dragonblight. When the plague came to Eredel, it swept through the streets like a cleansing fire, leaving ruin in its wake. Yet while others withered and died, Buderim remained untouched. Whether by fate or the resilience of his people, he stood immune to the sickness that ravaged his city. And so, when Draksborne called its warriors to war, he was one of the few able-bodied left to answer. Now, Buderim marches to battle, a titan among men, his executioner’s slab in hand. The devastation he once wrought in the name of law, he now brings to the battlefield. For Draksborne, for vengeance, and for the fallen.
